Cosrx Comfort Ceramide Cream

The Cosrx Comfort Ceramide Cream is good occlusive cream to lock everything in at the end of my evening routine. It has a silicone type slip to it which isn’t my favourite given my oily skin type.

The cream does feel super nourishing and does provide calm and comfort for my skin when it is irritated.

As with all Cosrx products to date, my skin does not experience any negative reactions. Being a more occlusive consistency I was concern about experiencing breakouts, but this was not the case.

This product claims to be a soothing moisturizer suitable for all skin types with a hypoallergenic formula soothes and replenishes skin without leaving a greasy after feel. It is formulated with Ceramide to strengthen skin’s barrier

While this product did its job I just can’t get over the feeling of having product on my face. It never seems to absorb fully, it feels like it just sits on my skin. With this in mind, there are products that provide me with similar results but without the heavy feeling.

I won’t be repurchasing this product, but my decision is based purely on my personal texture preference. It is a good product and delivers on what it promises.

MY SKIN TYPE

I have pale combination skin with a very oily t-zone. I suffer from enlarged pores, underlying redness and hyperpigmentation.

At times I can be prone to breakouts, but these days they tend to be more hormonal.

HOW TO USE

Due to the silicone type texture of the product, I primarily use this moisturizer as the last step of my evening skincare routine.

As there is plenty of slip you do not need much product to cover the face, neck and chest area.

I find that pressing the product into my skin does help slightly with absorption.

Please feel free to use my rewards code to get a little extra off your purchase.

This was a good product that followed through on it’s claims, the texture was simply not my first choice. For this reason only I will not be repurchasing.
